I’m so excited! I just booked my very first biplane ride in Atlanta, and the sights and sounds of open-cockpit flying have consumed my every thought. My flight date CAN’T possibly come fast enough! Lake Lanier from the air…. Turner Field…. Downtown Atlanta….
Only one small problem, what should I wear?
First, don’t worry one bit. You are not alone. And it’s not expected you should know this answer. Biplane rides are a truly unique expience and you will remember them long as you live! To assure you are comfortable while flying, we recommend the following dress code:
During the Spring, Summer and Fall you should dress pretty much as you would normally for that time of year. The open-cockpit won’t affect you much at all.
Winter can be somewhat cold, however, so we choose our days carefully during the winter months. Typically, we
“stand down” if the temperature falls below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Fortunately, a couple of our aircraft have heaters which allows us to fly year round. This is particularly good since many times the views are at their best during the colder months.
If you have any questions regarding dress code, or anything else at all we can help you with please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We’re here for you 24/7. Call 770.457.5757. Or simply visit the Biplane Atlanta Contact Page.
